Victoria! Victoria!!
I don't know if you've noticed the little countdown icon on the side of this blog, but it's been steadily ticking off the days until Don and I go to Victoria, British Columbia!! Yeah! I'm so excited. It's funny, but a lot of people have asked me what we're going for. Apparently BC isn't a normal vacation place for most people? But I'm so excited it's hard to sit still! I've wanted to go to Canada ever since Launi Leavitt went and brought me back a miniature size pack of playing cards and told me mesmerizing stories of lush, green forests. It's going to be beautiful, and they have better chocolate than we do! I'm also mildly obsessed with anything French, so I'm sure that I'll fall in love with the cadence and undulating rhythm of their language. We'll be staying in this sweet pastel colored condo that over looks the inner bay, how cool is that? So Adieu to all of you for a while, I'll let you know how awesome it was when I get back! wow. i don't even remember that. have fun in canada! take your playing cards with you to see their homeland! and don't get pulled over by the mounted police! (we did because my dad wasn't wearing his seatbelt).
hope that you guys had fun on your trip. i didn't think don was going so that's great if he did. aidan and i got to watch little buddy for your parents. he's a growly little guy. anyways can't wait to see pics.
I love your blog! We miss you guys so..... we talk often about how it would be fun to do this or that and invite you two. We just need to make a plan and do it. Will you guys be around Aug 16 & 17 or the 23rd & 24th? If so we would love to have you come up. That is sky's birthday weekend and he really wants to go rock climbing and the 5 month pregnant me can't go, and I know he would love to see Don. Let me know if you will be around or maybe you'll be on vacation still.
